Why This Movie Has An Artificially Low Score

The only reason the movie has a low score is because of the 90 "1" scores on there, all of them from Boll haters who just go down the list of any film Uwe Boll is connected to in any way on imdb and give it a "1".

A couple of guys like that discover this movie every day that way and give it a "1" even though it's impossible for them to have seen it because it hasn't been seen in the US or Europe or Australia yet. LOL people sure hate that Mo'Fo' Boll!

I don't understand the Ed Wood comments I've already been reading on here, though. Are they calling the drector of this movie, Ernie Barbarash, "the Ed Wood of our generation"? I don't think that's very fair. He did a great job with this movie (I saw it at the Toronto International Film Festival where there was applause at the end), and even CUBE ZERO was pretty decent. I've become kind of a fan of this guy's work. I suppose they must be referring to Uwe Boll who didn't direct this movie.

I don't even see how Uwe Boll could be on the list of executive producers on a fun little movie like this. I can only guess he put some money in at the end of it somehow? And what about all the other people besides Ernie Barbarash involved in this movie? None of them are going to show up on imdb to defend themselves probably, but why beat up on them? They did a great job. How would you feel if you did a bunch of hard work on a movie and Uwe Boll shows up and stamps an executive producer title on it? And then all the people who hate Uwe Boll try to call it one of his piece of crap movies without even seeing it or paying attention to the credits. Man, I'd be PO'd.

If you're interested, you guys should check out the awesome trailer on YouTube. Gives you a pretty good idea of what it's like. It sure isn't a garbage Uwe Boll video game movie.

This movie recieved an unusually high score of 5 stars from the Hollywood Video website in the Bay Area, which is where I rent my movies. It's like Blockbuster. The ratings are from 1 to 5 and Ironman got 4 1/2. I was surprised b/c movies NEVER get that high of a score. Im going to rent this movie today.

I gave it a 7/10. I thought it was a pretty decent movie. It was nicley done.

Maybe the reason why this movie didn't get the score it's fans apparantly were hoping for was probably because it wasn't all that good. American, Chinese, Boll, whatever it wasn't a very good flick and it certainly wasn't nothing new and hadn't been done before, albeit much better by other films and producers. Don't get p'd off because the movie you did wind up appreciating didn't get a score that you felt it deserved. Everyone is entitled to their opinions so I guess more people disliked it,than cared for it I guess.

yea i feel you gotta let everybody have their own feelings,cant knock any1's hustle but that being said gotta add my 3 cents in,goes like this:i think it gets a low boll score too cuz in me and my ol'laidie's world this movie rocks!n im not a boll hater or die hard fan tho i tend to not think his stuff is as bad as everyone sayz and as for my girl she doesnt dig everything i'm feeling but she enjoyed this 1 go-head uwe(ha ha ha)hey i mean that,cheers mates-faceuno

fiiiirst off... Cube Zero was the best in the series IMO and this director deserves recognition for that alone.

Anywho, on to my point... it really ticks me off seeing all the Boll bashing IMDB is littered with. He has made several pretty descent movies to which most people have refused to see simply cause its Boll (Postal, Tunnel Rats, Seed, and even Dungeon Siege was good because it was so over-the-top hilariously GOOFY... and I think Boll did that intentionally... I mean come on, synchronized ninjas!!! and Burt Reynolds as a king!!!)--- Tunnel Rats in particular I found very very impressive.

I did the math and the movie would have a 7.1 rating if all of the 1 ratings were removed. Looking at the numbers I would say 30-50 would probably be legit which would make it more around 6.8.
I haven't watched the movie and don't know who Uwe Boll is.

It's funny because on all the website reviews as of this date where actual buyers of the DVD are the only ones allowed to comment (like amazon for example), and professional print media movie critics (the only thing that counts because money for truth is involved) are overwhelming that this is a 4 star out of 5 star movie. Absolutely overwhelmingly so -- except on imdb and faked blogs. Sad for imdb. Frankly, this is about a 6-ish movie in my opinion. Maybe 7.

Now why is there still such a discrepency between the reality and the imdb rating? Every once in awhile a few more fake ID 1's are added on here. Why is that?

It's become clear that many of the fake accounts are from the people who are loser-gamer-arrested-development-losers are partly to blame. They hate Uwe Boll and will lie, cheat, and steal to do anything to make sure any movie even remotely associated with him never, ever gets over a "5". Even here, where Uwe Boll bought his way in after the movie was actually made so he could slap an executive producer credit on it. But you know what? They're so pitiful, it's become hard to criticize them. Sort of like drug addicted kids who live in a slum and spray paint graffiti on the sides of buildings at night to show their "power".

The rest have recently been revealed as racists who can't deal with the asian-caucasian man and wife in the film. Racists are a big part of a lot of imdb ratings, unfortunately. On the internet, they can "do their worst".

Imdb is NOT to blame. There is nothing they can do about it. All we honest, thinking people can do is point it out. And that's what's happening in this post. Pointing out the only obvious conclusion.

I was amazed to see that it had such a high score. Because it sucked. The only thing worse than a boring horror flick is a boring comedy.

My God, this was bad.

To be fair, Uwe Boll has an amazing way to draw decent actors and budgets to his movies, so he seems to be pretty good producer, he should just leave the directing to others...

I just gave it an 8. I liked it all but the leading lady. Jaime Pressly is a terrible actress when she's trying to be scared or worried......uhm.. or happy, or glad, dramatic or any emotion for that matter. Okay, she's just a bad actress. Bless her heart. I think she tries.
