I just watched "Black and Blue" and I got Trainspotting vibes

What kind of amazed me about this is how much the tone of the dialog reminded me of Trainspotting. The accents, the delivery, the idioms and slang.

Maybe this is some kind of compliment to both productions for capturing some essence of Edinburgh and/or Scotland identifiable to an American.
