I'm not trolling at all, this film is really well made, and the subtle story is perfectly dream like or acid trip inspired. It's not really a film most people would like for the same reasons I said before, but those people are probably waiting for thor to pop out with mijnor to save the day along with captain america. But for someone who can appreciate a film for its cinemataography, scenery, costume design, and more obtuse storytelling, it's really excellent.
It's a film about lost vikings looking to fight in the crusades and end up lost and landing in the Americas, looking to spread the word of god, on land already inhabited. Mix that with One Eye, a silent slave warrior, who never speaks and is driven by his visions of the future, who finally sacrifices himself to save the boy, his only voice, is quite different than most films, and I found it more entertaining than watching a predictable plot with people with really *beep* acting roles, yelling at green screens and tennis balls.
*gasp* OH-MY-GOD! *roll credits* GENIUS!
