Season 2 was disappointing.

This show was much maligned when it aired. Wrongly so. Its dark humor coupled with the excellent expressive puppet work made for a solid show. The supernatural elements and absurd situations of the first season are hilarious. The second season sees Parker and Josh in school. We see their parents. Their job is less important. It has far less supernatural insanity. Its as if someone told them to tone the craziness down and turn it into more of a generic teen show. This sucked the soul out of the show. Parker's Kiss, the first episode of the 2nd season, is a showcase for this. Nothing supernatural. Just Parker going through team problems. There are still jokes in the 2nd season and it's still watchable, but it lacks that essence that makes this show special.
