This show took a Thelma-and-Louise nose-dive after Season 3

Right of a tall cliff, full throttle. It ran 4 seasons too long. I don’t know if all the seasons were derived from novels, or if the source material petered out and the alleged writers were writing in terra incognito a la Game of Lame, I mean, Thrones. As BB King sang, “The thrill is gone.” “Hi, HBO. It’s Steve Moyer. It’s tie for you to record my lines. You ready?”

Fairies? Really? Politics? The reason why I would care? Hell, while they were at it, why not put Jason Stackhouse on Jeopardy and really crank out the yucks?

That True Blood limped and staggered along for 4 more seasons is more evidence in the file that humans are truly stupid creatures of habit. That would explain why we still have baseball—whose fan base has an average age of 56 years old and is in no way getting younger.
