Interesting film that serves as a guide for any dramaic piece.

If someone said it would be interesting to watch a movie about an old guy and his dog for an hour and a half, most people might balk at such a notion. However, this little film (and the book it is based upon) are both living proof of what makes any book or film interesting - the human condition. The human condition itself is of inestimable interest to most readers or viewers, even the most mundane, when it is well-written.

What I find very interesting about the film is the abject honesty about everything. The conclusions or assertions he has about things Tulip does, no matter how repulsive or inconsequential. It's a very unusual and refreshing slice of life.

"The human condition"

Yes, universal human values and concerns, aside from contemporary politics. Something that has been forgotten today.
