Final 20 Minutes

I really enjoyed this film, for about 80 minutes. Then it felt as if someone else had taken over writing and directing duties. The film falls apart in so many ways, but the action on the screen feels almost like a rehearsal for a play, where nobody is quite certain of their lines or how to deliver them. The final line was cringe-worthy.

I had the exact same feeling. Its as almost the director and the writers decided to become "realistic" about life and turn an uplifting movie to a there are no good endings in life type of endings. It had that really depressing touch to it.

It a matter of days the kids fall in love Paul as the father they never had and then they demonize him as the 100% cause for their mother's actions. They didnt seem to be upset with her.

I would have wanted to see the same mood through the entire movie without necessary making a good or bad ending.

Yep the ending sucked, and they really should have gone another way
