Peace Is Made Between Paul and the Rest of the Family.

The family got to know Paul and some good things came about. Sure he starts off careless and immature, but he gets better. As the family seemingly severe ties with him, a lack of closure is brought to him and he is made out to be a villain.

But...
If the family were to have called him back and had dinner together, sure that would have been nice, but it would have been too convenient. Does Paul and the family reconcile? You bet! Here's how I know: When Joni is making herself comfortable in her dorm, she rushes out and the family does too as one last bid for goodbye. Then in the car, emphasis is placed on Nic and Jules holding hands, symbolizing their inseparable bond. These two actions really show the importance of family, and how nothing will ever break them apart. So since Paul is kind of a family member, peace must have been made, otherwise it makes the rest of the film seem beyond random.

I hope so, because it looked to me that they all cut out Paul at the end. He really wasnt fully to blame since Jules did make the first move on him.
