Dumbest line ever...

It's not a line but it's probably the dumbest scene. Dash comes into the lodge and Johnny the "Valley talking guy" is trying to get someone at the Ranger station on the radio. Dash tells him to save the batteries they're all out sick. Then he gets on the phone and doesn't get anything. Duh if the freakin phone worked would Johnny have been trying to get someone on the radio??
