...was Way too good for Trish. He was such a sweet guy and she was kind of a slut, and she didn't even consider doing anything romantic with him until he cleaned himself up. He kind of, in his own way, asked her every day why not consider a guy like me and she always shot him down. I knew they would end up together but I didn't really see what Prestly saw in Trish other than she was pretty...and easy

I didn't have any problem with Tish's sex life. It's not as though the boys she slept with were blushing virgins, either. Why shouldn't she get the same prerogative? She wasn't cheating on anybody. And she certainly didn't deserve to get slapped around.
But I'm with those who really didn't like Priestly having to change his look to suit Tish, while she basically didn't change at all (plus, I didn't like his new look). Whatever his reasons for dressing punk, they were his and he was as entitled to them as Tish was to her revolving door of multiple sex partners. Neither one had to explain or justify that, but only one had to change radically to be with the person he/she loved.
