It deserves a much higher score! A straightforward, unpretentious blockbuster with good atmosphere, tragic storyline, lots of passion and strong acting (especially by the protagonist). In fact, the only blockbuster movie that I really enjoyed in years.

I really liked the ending where we see him in modern times.
I really hope there is going to be a sequel with the master and vlad.
I think there are way too many twilight fans that watched it and were disapointed by the lack of sparkly vampires so they gave it a low score. It was a solid monster movie with a good adaptation of Dracula
