What's with the hate of this movie?

I thought it was fine. Is it because of the way cancer is portrayed? I understand that cancer isn't a joking matter, but this is a comedy. That's the same as Family Guy going too mean-spirited in some episodes.

i liked the film overall but i can understand why it would put some people off because it was an emotional roller coaster.

What are words for when no one listens anymore

I guess people thought it was a bit too schmaltzy given cancer is a pretty heavy topic.
