What did people outside Australia think?
I am an aussie and I must say I really enjoyed this movie. I heard it's been released overseas. What do everyone outside of Australia think about the movie?

sharewatching it now about half way through and loving it so far, kenny is a legend i'd love to have him as a mate, oh btw im from england
shareFrom the US:
I knew nothing about this film, never saw trailers, no one recommended it, etc.
I just saw it when I went into the video rental store and grabbed it.
Just finished watching it 30 minutes ago, and I've already put it on my Amazon wishlist as well as emailed my daughter about it.
Now it's time to see it again with the commentary.
Just one note to US viewers: turn on the subtitles so you don't miss anything the first time around.
Im from New Zealand, and i LOVE THIS MOVIE
i even bought the 3 dvd edition, they are REALLY hard to find in NZ :D
I'm from Nashville, TN. I enjoyed this movie enough for a second viewing, and showed it to a friend who also enjoyed it. Yes, the movie relies a lot on poo jokes. But I love the irony that there was that many poo jokes, and yet never see it. Ever.
But more importantly, the movie's based around a really cool guy, someone who thinbks everyones's a potential friend and does the best he can. If Kenny was real, I'd hang out with him.
Best of all was the Nashville scenes. Every single location he went to, I've been in. And they didn't throw up redneck stereotypes and showed an honest piece of Nashville. I can't tell you how appreciative I was of that. Yes, it's heavy on the country-western flavor, but it is also a modern city which they showed.
Great film that I'm glad I bought. 7.5 out of 10
If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.
I'm from Canada but I watched this when I was in Auckland, NZ. It's probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It reminded me a bit of the Canadian movie Fubar. Totally different stories, but both hilarious mockumentaries.
shareI now live in Canada (originally English) and saw it on the Moviechannel a couple of nights ago. What a suprise - how good it was. I just loved the sub-titles for our idiot American cousins (joke) and found myself reading them - even though I didn't need to.
A simply wonderful movie! Should have won even more awards than it did.
I'm English and Kenny is the greatest film ever
