Gwendolyn Briley

What was supposed to be the deal with Gwendolyn Briley, Jonathan's sister? I wasn't aware of this but they were claiming on discussion forums she was a paid actress and that wasn't really her brother. I did wonder why the Village People's, Alex Briley wasn't interviewed if that was his brother also.
