Very slow start...getting better

I enjoy giving every show a two or three episode try. This one started out like a lame b Lifetime movie. It does apoear some scenes may have been video taped as opposed to film. Those scenes have that smooth feel to them. But the show is certainly tolerable. I've seen much worse.
There are a few actors I really like; Gerald McRaney~he gives the series it's sustenance. Pamela Reed~the town 'mom', James Remar...and who is this beautiful young lady, Soshannah Stern?

It does kinda bother me that after neatly a dozen episodes, they still don't know who initiated the attack...who exactly was involved. Just because the Chinese dropped supplies doesn't mean they're the culprits (so far).
One thing, they do seem to stretch out the episodes, milk every minute so they can lengthen the show

I take it you've probably seen it all by now ;) but for anyone else interested yes the first dozen episodes seem to be a slow decent into an apocalyptic dystopia, but then it shifts up a gear in the second half of season 1 changing the whole direction.

Season 2 which is only 7 episodes is a sprint to a conclusion which is pretty action packed and worth the journey. All your questions will be answered!
