Favorite shows cancelled
Maybe I should just find all shows that were cancelled after one or two seasons. Those are the ones I like. Here is a list of quality programming:
* Firefly
* Jericho
* Life
* Rubicon
* Arrested Development

None of these were any good. Even Firefly and its companion movie - Serenity were average. Not sure why people chime so much about Firefly. It was alright, average. Nothing spectacular.
What I consider good shows canceled are -
- Stargate: SG1
- Stargate: Atlantis
- Journeyman
I'd rather see a list of entertaining shows that actually have an end.
I hate to start watching a show that just stops without an end to anything.
X-Files, Buffy, Fringe and Stargate SG-1 come to my mind. Probably Lost too, though I've never watched it myself.

Lincoln Lee: I lost a partner.
Peter Bishop: I lost a universe!
Veronica Mars
Firefly
Jericho (of course)
But they're listed as canceled, how can they have an end?

LOST was never canceled. It ended after 6 seasons on it's own terms.
Favorite Shows cancelled:
Jericho
Carnivale
Flashforward
Firefly (at least we got the movie SERENITY)
Arrested Development
The 4400

Jericho was the last time I watched a new show like that. Now I wait until the season is done and binge watch them all. Saves a ton of aggravation from getting 10 episodes in and learning somethings over.
Keep voting for D's and R's America the 1% is counting on you to be their servants.

I'm still mourning Firefly (and so is Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, as we know), of course Jericho (gonna buy the graphic novels soon), and Arrested Development.
Furthermore, at least a little, a show called Surface. ("A marine biologist, an insurance salesman and a teen-aged boy find their lives fundamentally changed by the emergence of a new, and often dangerous, species of sea life, while government agents work to keep the affair under wraps." - Interesting premise, cut off after season 1.)
I would like to add Brotherhood to the list tho technically it got a small shortened 8 episode 3rd season but no true series finale.
This was an incredible gem of a show made by Showtime before they knew how to market and advertise properly. They are still way behind the curve with their competitors like HBO or Netflixeven today but back OT.
If none of you guys have seen it I highly suggest giving it a shot, currently streaming on Amazon Prime all 3 seasons. Like i said the first 2 were normal 12 ep seasons i believe and the 3rd was only 8. Absolutely fantastic television for the people heavy into character development over violence.
Dont get me wrong there is plenty of action and violence but balanced in such a way its beautiful..
At least Jericho got a second season. It would have been a horrible shame if the series had stopped with the Newburn fight, or if the second season was thrown together.
I think the limited time caused a very compact and powerful second season that tied the series up pretty well.
While Jericho had unused potential, It was a complete and satisfying series unlike Firefly which hadn't even scratched the surface of its potential.
In addition to all the great shows mentioned in this thread, I would add "Copper". 2 seasons, great historical piece, but cancelled.
