Why is Thomas still so likable?

He's crazy and I kept rooting for Rachel Nichols' character to survive. And still I felt a little sorry for him and wanted it to work out well for him too. Is something wrong with me????

No, there definitely isn't. I think that was the whole point of the character. We thought he was a cruel, sick bastard. BUT there was obviously something not quite right mentally, and I hoped he would have gotten his *beep* figured out.

YES!!!!! That guy was a total psycho creep, and got just what he deserved.

There is nothing likeable about a man who gratuitously, psychologically and violently abuses a woman.

So no, no sympathy for the guy because he can't get a girlfriend.
