Hulk MCU orginins movie?

This clearly does not show the origins of the Hulk in the MCU so my question is about how this Hulk in the MCU got his beginning? Was there some attempt to recreate Captain America that lead to the creation of the Hulk? This movie starts off with Banner already having the Hulk in him.

We really don't need to see the Hulk's Origin. Everything we need to see is in the opening credits and further elaborated on in the scene with Ross and Blonsky. Besides, everyone knows Hulks origin.

I will not fear, fear is the mind killer

reply

The opening credits and scenes that deal with the memories of what happened does not do a good job explaining things.

It's irrelevant if we all know the Hulks origins. We all knew most superhero origins but it was still a fun ride to see it retold to fit into the new story lines.

The average moviegoer doesn't know the Hulk's origin. They may know some things about the Hulk, but the average person isn't a comic book reader, and doesn't know the whole story behind each character.

reply

The average movie-goer knows the Hulk's origin from the TV show or comic book. Exposure to an overdose of gamma-radiation.

reply

The intro credits, the scenes with Betty and Blonsky, and the scene in the Quinjet in The Avengers with Cap and Coulson ("So this Dr Banner... He tried to recreate the serum they used on me?")
Pretty easy to piece it all together

reply

So just because it's easy to piece all together doesn't mean that it wouldn't make for a good entertaining movie.

Seeing the gov trying to recreate Capt ending up with Hulk would be a great movie.

reply

No, no it wouldn't be.

reply

The producers clearly didn't want to do another origin story. Its that simple.

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

reply

Did show his origin in the opening credits with the gamma chair from the TV show, Banner thinking he was working on radiation resistance.
