I love this film. it has all the plot work right and I feel that I am the only person standing in a sinking boat. what is up with that! this film was incredible and I truly loved it. it was great acting from Ewan Mcgregor and Collin Farrel, none the less.

The movie was a mess! Being a fan of Woody Allens movies, I was a little disappointed.
I liked it. Different to most Woody Allen films. It's a tragedy based on Cassandra's myth.
IMO 'Cassandra's Dream' and 'Match Point' are a brave attempt from Woody to make something different to what his audience is accustomed and expecting from him. (although 'Crimes and Misdemeanors' and 'Interiors' are not precisely your typical "Woody Allen film" either).
'Cassandra's Dream' is well acted, has a solid script and is efficiently directed, without phony FX nor unnecesary fireworks. Relatively a low-budget movie, like practically any other movie directed by Woody Allen. Besides it was his first movie recorded in "stereo". A total novelty for a Woody's film .

It's a great film by most standards, it's mediocre if you stack it against better Woody Allen efforts.
