Woody at his weakest...

I thought this movie most predictable. In fact, after about ten minutes into the film, I mentioned how I thought it would end, and AT the end of the movie, my friend turned to me and said "You've seen this before, right? That's the only way you could tell how this would end?' Unfortunately, Woody telegraphed the ending in big bold letters quite early on in the film.

While I don't mind predictable movies... I have come so much to expect them, that seeing this really didn't surprise me. Having this predictable snorer come from Woody Allen DOES surprise me?! Certainly nothing else about the movie did.

While the actors were not called on to do much, I find nothing to criticize regarding the acting. Everyone turned in a decent turn... I guess? There really wasn't much for them to do, with THIS script?!

But... the story and the direction left MUCH to be desired. I expect much, MUCH better from Allen. I'm afraid he phoned this one in?!
