Game of Thrones Fans are voting down Planet Earth

This voting-down-action was started by Game-of-Thrones-Fans when it was behind Planet Earth in the TV-series-Charts. Also the discussion that Planet Earth is not a TV-show comes from the GoT-fans.

When somebody asked on the Breaking-Bad-board to vote down Planet Earth, the post was pushed away at once with harsh words.

So, look into the right direction:
The voting down of Planet Earth comes from Game of Thrones!

I'm a huge fan of GoT/ASoIaF. But Planet Earth is the best documentary ever. Period. On anything. I'd give Planet Earth the nod over GoT and BB.

These are all very good shows.
And yes, Planet Earth is fantastic!
Voting any show or movie down for political reasons (here: move them up or down in the hit list) is simply disgusting.

Don't know what happened to the many threads on this Board.

Planet Earth is a wonderful TV Series

Planet Earth is an amazing show and you will be deeply touched!
Was overwhelmed by the beauty of our planet, the wonderful pictures they are showing and the well chosen music.
Was not only one time that i had tears in my eyes. 

71 camera operators filmed in 204 locations in 62 countries on all seven continents, spending more than 2000 days in the field. Five years in the making, it was the most expensive nature documentary series ever commissioned by the BBC, and also the first to be filmed in high definition
Because it was recorded by the international teams in such great quality, try to get it in HD (Blu-ray disc or DVD).
And since there are a lot of similar named shows:
It should be the one with the 11 episodes.
It is really worth it!
I gave this serie for every single episode 10 points!

You can check out if you like David Attenborough as a narrator here (i do!):

(there are more samples without subtitles)

The german version is nice also though the accompanying commentary is different and not only the intro by David Attenborough made me watch the whole original several times:

"A hundred years ago, there were one and a half billion people on Earth. Now, over six billion crowd our fragile planet. But even so, there are still places barely touched by humanity. This series will take you to the last wildernesses and show you the planet and its wildlife as you have never seen them before."
(David Attenborough's opening narration)

Currently 7,4 billion people on Earth. 😖

I think all shows have had their boards culled for old posts/threads. My post count has gone down from a couple of thousand to a few dozen as a result.
