The lastscene got me like - Spoiler

I thought that was a scene portraying a comeback concert, then I realized that was actual modern performance not intended to be one of the Miles performance scene. Just curious why they wanted to do that. Any ideas?

I was so happy to see Wayne Shorter,Paul Chambers, Herbie Hancock, Esperanza Spaulding, and Gary Clark. Especially because I though the first three were no longer with us!
