What a pile of Garbage

Just got done watching this movie. I knew it will be bad but why good actors like Steve Carrell, Steve Buscemi, Jim Carrey and Alan Arkin would associate themselves to such mediocre movies is something I do not understand.

The current rating of the movie is 7.2, I think whoever is reviewing is associated to this movie. Two thumbs down from for the stink pile of crap!

As of now the rating's down to 5.9. I agree this movie is lacking something but it had potential. It just didn't quite meet it, either in the execution or the writing not being there. But I could see why the actors were interested in the project. There were some funny moments, and I enjoyed Jim Carrey's parts.

Oh boo hoo, it was funny and some good gags and sight gags (the kid pulling the knife as he walks away with the rabbit and hat). Carrey and Arkin were great. A fine G Rated comedy, mind the swearing.

Such a funny movie, I don't get the hate. Guess some people are just born with a stick up their ass.

I do not feel lucky, punk.

Wow did this movie have a 7.2 rating? At least it's lower but still not low enough. The movie is just plain and simple awful. The only good moments are with Jim Carrey but they're too short. Honestly I stopped watching halfway through the movie.

I am not into stupid humor, but when I saw this in the theater I laughed my ass off, to me one of the worst stupid funny movies is "Balls of Fury", it really had a lot of promise, but the script really fell flat half way through and relied too much on cheap humor, but it's still better than some of the stuff out there, at least Christopher Walken was entertaining.

While Burt Wonderstone is not perfect, I found it to be very amusing, and laugh-inducing, for me what dragged it down a bit was actually Olivia Wilde's character, I feel if she was left out, things would have been a little bit better, or if she had a greatly reduced role. Jim Carey is definitely the highlight, he was hilarious and spot on, though I did enjoy Carell and Buschemi as well, in fact, I saw this movie for Buschemi, he is a favorite actor of mine, if he's in it, I'll go see it.

I do think that in general, people might have their expectations a bit to high, I had very low expectations, and I really enjoyed it most of the time, not a perfect movie by any stretch, and certainly could have had a bit of a tighter script, but overall enjoyable for what it is, throwaway, stupid, and fun.
