I liked the movie...

but holy Jesus I couldn't stand Lord Portley Rind at all. He's just one of your typical neglectful fathers we've seen dozens of times, he never had any remorse for his behavior for his daughter, he only cared about his cheese and white hat, and it was a bummer that they wasted a talented British actor like Jared Harris for such a one note character.
