best line in any film ever

"I'm not a tree, I'm a f___ing sheep!" - classic, absolutely unforgettable. Boss film. Well good fun.

(the negative pretentious people who have diluted this forum are banned from replying, go on - f___ off)

there were a few good lines, but overall the movie took itself way too seriously.

My favorite was after the sheep drove the truck off the mountain and the girl turns around and says "Oh, a sheep!" in this terrified/puzzled/interested tone.. for some reason I cracked up for hours lol

"but overall the movie took itself way too seriously"

Well - this flick may have had its flaws but I don't think it was attempting to be taken seriously in any way - except perhaps on the quality of its humorous gore! The writing was alright but I reckon most of the laughs came from the scenes of 'violence' rather than the dialogue and acting.

I loved the poor vego guy who was overcome by his meaty urges. He was SOOO pitiful and whimpering as he bit into flesh.

Great flick though - really looking forward to seeing it all again on dvd when it comes out.

reply

you're forgetting: "you'll turn into one of them!!" "a hippie?"

Bender: I was God once.
God: Yes, I saw. You were doing well until everyone died

reply

The best "Gag" in the film, was the part when he threw the mint sauce on the killer sheep man, and he steamed a bit. Had me giggling in the cinema for a good 20 minutes.

reply

Love the bit where Tucker takes the safety off the gun for her then goes to give it back, stops and goes nah

"You tried your best and failed miserably, the lesson is never try"

reply

the part that had me laughing so hard i actually had to pause this cuz i was disrupting everyone else from watching was when the sheep sideswipes the guy and u hear is "BAAAHAAA" OMFG IT IS SO FRICKEN FUNNY I JUST STARTED LAUGHING RIGHT NOW!!! xDDD

reply

Yes! Hilarious!! I also enjoyed the little fetus looking thing that started the whole outbreak. I actually rented this after seeing a preview for it on some other movie, and I had no idea what it was about except that the idea of killer sheep terrified me and I had to see it lol. The day after I watched it, I went out and bought it...classic! Obviously it's not Oscar material, but people who think it's "the worst movie ever made" need to get over themselves!

"the movie took itself way too seriously"

Are you mad? Next You'll be telling us that Bad Taste raised some strong social issues. Maybe YOU were trying to take it seriously. Big mistake. It's supposed to be a silly, gory bit of fluff. See it for what it is and You'll enjoy it more.

Be horny.

The funniest part that i SAW was when the priest believes that the sheep are holy or something and says take me and then suddenly one of the sheep bites his neck wildy. I craked up, it is so blatent. I only saw parts of the movie though so there could of been funnier parts.

reply

I thought the funniest part was when he put the sheepskin rug on his back and started crawling reeeeeally slowly through the flock of evil sheep! And he was muttering something like 'I'm a sheep, I'm a sheep, I'm a sheep...'

Ah, lovely soup. A hug in a mug. All I need now is a kiss in a tube... a w*nk in a packet.

reply

a bit too late for this, but that wasn't the priest, it was the
cab driver who had wondered over for some food after waiting so
long, which makes it even a bigger payoff, lmao

Hahahahahahahahaha. This film was a riot. If one is trying to take it seriously - let alone the film makers (writers, actors etc.), then they need help....baaadly! Loved the near-ending scene of the sheep explosion - cinematic GOLD and perhaps the best sheep fart gag in film history.

reply

Wow....It's been a while since I've seen such a terrible movie. Especially if this movie was meant to be taken serious. And if not, I didn't think it was funny...well...except for the gaseous Big Bang at the end!

reply

Brandon Pakker I know it is hard to read when someone is saying one thing but meaning another but I have to ask. Are you fo' real?

Best line in any iMDB forum ever.

I thought it was crap too-- and it was filmed at my mate's house (a camp place, sort of), so I had to hear about it every day.

reply

I think it is just that many poeple don't get NZ humour. The same thing happened with Undead: people just misunderstood Aussie humour and took it for "being too serious".

reply

Yeah, what the hell? I love this and Undead also.
It's like people have no sense of humour whatsoever :-s

Undead was a pretty cool and funny movie. A great throwback to the 50s sci-fi movies. I haven't seen Black Sheep yet, and I've heard terrible reviews. However, everyone on this board has been super enthusiastic about it, so I'm definitely going to give it the benefit of the doubt and check it out.

reply

I loved the part when the sheep drove the truck off the cliff and could hear the BAAAAAAaA on the way down. Cracked me up

"but overall the movie took itself way too seriously"

um, no, apparently that's just you.

"My favorite was after the sheep drove the truck off the mountain and the girl turns around and says "Oh, a sheep!" in this terrified/puzzled/interested tone.. for some reason I cracked up for hours lol"

let's take a look at that again: "for some reason I cracked up for hours lol"

indeed, you need help

I liked it when Angus said 'Baaaastard!' then clapped his hand over his mouth. Stupid joke but everyone in the cinema cracked up over it! :)

The three main 'good guys' are trapped being attacked by a sheep for the first time an Tucker asks Henry what his phobia is all about:

"The completely irrational fear that someday, some how, something like this would happen!"

reply

Experience: Oh my God!

(Henry and Tucker turn to look at her.)

The feng shui in this room is unbelievably bad!

reply

Henry: You *beep*!
Angus Oldfield: Actually it was a sperm sample.
Henry: You wanker!

Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K.

reply

This line:
"The completely irrational fear that someday, some how, something like this would happen!" Cracks me up!

Besides the converstion between Angus and Henry:
Henry: "You're turning into them!"
Angus (terriefied): "A hippie??"
The look of fear in his face is unbelieveble.

i laughed alot in this movie, but for some reason i laughed so hard my stomach hurt and i had to pause the movie when Henry shouted "SHOOT IT AGAIN!"

reply

My favorite:

Tucker: What about the sheep?
Henry: *beep* the sheep!
Tucker: No time for that now!

reply

You eff off. Its not pretentious to think this film is an utter piece of crap, its just common sense. This is one of the worst films Ive ever seen on so many levels.

reply

I thought that maybe not the best line but the best moment was when experience said: Who's driving?
After Tucker had got out of the truck, and you see the sheep at the steering wheel and it goes over the cliff..
That had me laughing for about half an hour!

reply

LOL
I think the sheep looked good behind the wheel.

Obviously you have no sense of humour.

No, it's not common sense.

reply

Tucker takes his boot off and has a sheep's paw: "I'll take a tetanus shot for that!"

Henry tells Experience in the crawlspace "Relax", she farts, "Not that relax"

reply

Not really a line but for some reason the moment in the truck when Henry finally gets the chainsaw started and is so taken off guard by it that he drops it had me laughing out loud.

reply

The best line was when he described his phobia as "the utterly irrational fear that someday this would happen," or something like that. Priceless.

FABRICATI DIEM, PVNK

reply

"*beep* the Sheep!"
"There isn't time for that"

Thats the best line in the movie by far!!!
