When they go on vacation to Cancun and as they are flying away in the flyboat Ming Ming says "We are coming to enjoy you Mexico!" it totally made me laugh for some reason lol.
Linny - "Chimps are like monkeys but they're smar-ter!"
Tuck - "I thought monkeys lived in the forest." Linny - "Usually they do, but sometimes...they get shot up into space."
Omg I've only seen one full episode, but this is definitely the best kids show ever. I have it tivo'd every day for the rest of the week.
I love that the whole thing sounds like they're making it up as they go along, especially the tunes of the songs. Are the main characters voiced by kids or adults?
I luv then they go "Lenny, Tuck, and ming-ming too were wonder pets and well save u!
And i LUV THE SONG THE DO!!
WONDER PETS WONDER PETS WERE ON OUR WAY! TO SAVE A BABY PANDA(OR ANY ANIMAL) AND SAVE THE DAY! WERE NOT TO BIG AND WERE NOT TO TOUGH BUT WHEN IT COMES TO HELPING WE GOT THE RIGHT STUFF. WHATS GONNA WORK? TEAM WORK! WHATS GONNA WORK? TEAAMM WORK! GO WONDER PETS YYAAAAAYYY!
The funniest was the one with the ants and Linny got a second call, the first time that happened I guess and Ming-Ming says "It's a good thing we have CAN waiting." I was laughing so hard.
I like the one where they are saving the baby pigeon and Tuck makes a suggestion, I think for the pigeon to FLY back to his nest... Ming Ming - "WAIT...I've got it! Why doesn't the baby pigeon just FLY back to her nest?" Tuck - "Hey, wait..." Linny - "Tuck, let it go."
I found myself cracking up over the one episode where Ming-Ming doesn't say her classic "This is SEWIOUS!" right away, but says "SEWIOUSLY!...Oh, I forgot... this is SEWIOUS!"
Feeling a little strange responding to the topic, but oh well. I'm a fan.
The episode where Linny is sick and they have to rescue the baby mouse from the saxophone. Linny keeps in contact with the others through shouting in the airducts to the attic - where the rescue is to occur - giving words of advise on teamwork and such the entire time.
Tuck and Ming-Ming are on the "same page" until they approach the Saxophone.
Ming-Ming: "Time for me to save the baby mouse" (Camera closeup on her face - bigger than life - shaking her head back and fourth - speaking slowly) "All alone, by myself"
Tuck can be seen afterward just blinking with jaw dropped.
I also LOVE it when Ming Ming gets suck on the school and when Linny and Tuck are singing and they sing "Linny, Tuck, and Ming Ming usually" I laughed so hard. Seriously though, this is an AWESOME show. I wake up just to watch it. Not even kidding.
Linny - "A shpinx has the head of a man and the body of a lion" Ming ming - "nobody's perfect"
And when they are saving the panda:
Linny - "Careful panda!" Tuck - "Give us you hand...da!"
My 2.5 year old son is a freak for Thomas the tank engine and The Wonderpets. They are his heroin. I must admit, I don't mind watching either of them with him, but I am really sick of the Little Einstiens.
During the rescue of the mouse in the saxophone (when Linny is sick) they are blowing into the paper towel roll for some reason (thinking it's a sax) and Tuck makes this pppbbbttt sound and then Ming-Ming does the same thing and says, "Well, no dice." Just too cute. I love the 'sewious' line. I have yet to see the episode with the puppy (celery is good after a good pee). I look forward to it. :)
the one when the rabbit tried to have his own resuce team and he ends up getting stuck and he says something like "don't sing help me", because it is funny that they put off helping an animal just a bit longer to sing a song...
#51"That's right, one can make all kinds of explosives using simple household items"
My new favorite line was from the second "Ollie" episode, when his calls to his toy "Thunderpets" for help, and the rock falls over. Cue Ming Ming-
"This is....hilawious."
Linny: "Ming Ming!"
I love anytime that the other two have to chide her, and sometimes she'll be "sowwy", but not all of the time. :P Also, during the "Save the Turtle" episode, Ming Ming pulls the same "Isn't it great to have just the two of us, Linny?" as Tuck did for the "Save the Duckling" ep.
Also, I did kinda have to laugh when Tuck finally lost his temper at Ming Ming, when she breaks his snowglobe-
I love it when during one episode, after Linny has explained the problem, Ming-Ming says; "You CAN'T be serious!" A great twist on her usual catchphrase!
My sister and I "watch" together via phone (we live 1000 miles apart) and love the show even though we are 48 and 49 years old. We both cried yesterday at the baby kangaroo saying "Mama! Mama!" It was heartbreaking even though we knew it would all end OK thanks to the WonderPets. Mostly we laugh though...
I like in the "Save the Kitten" episode when Ming-Ming in hovering about the kitten and they're about to go under a bridge, Linny yells "Duck!!" and Ming-Ming looks at him and goes "Yes, I am a duck" I just started laughing at that. I also love "The Phone is Ringing" song, i actually have that as a ringtone on my phone...and so does my dad.
I agree with Crystal Moon...the "Yes, I *am* a duck" line is too, too funny! I'm watching "Save the Bee" right now and when the baby bee, referring to his flying problem, says "This is serious", Ming Ming says "This bee is a bit of a drama queen." I could not stop laughing. I really want the dancing singing Ming Ming. Just about anything that comes out of Ming Ming's mouth is funny- TWPS the Squirrel: "He's in wheel trouble. A Ferris wheel, get it? I twied." "Baby Squiwwell" "Now we better rescue ourselves!"
My name is catsimmie and I'm a 37 year old Wonder Pets addict...
When my 2 1/2 year old misbehaves, we tell him if he doesn't behave, he'll lose his WP privileges for a day and that is the ONLY thing that gets his attention! He lost his stuffed Ming Ming right before Christmas, and you would've thought the world had ended! He sat on Santa's lap and all he kept saying when asked what he wanted was "Ming Ming too!"
I love any episode with Ollie the Bunny. Ming Ming's lines are classic! There was one of the ones where Ollie was in trouble and when Linny talked about saving him, Ming Ming said something like "Do we have too?" Or was that the Ollie in Wonderland episode?
Oh and of course anytime Linny gets called a pig - "That's GUINEA pig!"
