Biggest L in the whole series. Dexter's season 7 arc makes zero sense. His relationship with Hannah is some of the most stupid jump the shark moments I've seen.
Season 6 was not good, but damn, it's gospel compared to this.

I myself thought Season 7 was an improvement over Season 6, & is vastly superior to Season 8. Mind you, I watched the show long after it's original airing, so maybe I would've had a different take if I'd been watching week to week instead of binging.
As far as Hannah goes, I initially didn't have the hate for her most people seem to have. I could see the reason for her character & relationship with Dexter as being a kind of different counterpoint to his relationships thus far re: Rita, Lila, & Lumen. The problem was the character wasn't written very well, & Yyvonne is not a very good actress. (at least as far as this role goes)
But the real problem arose in S08, and the totally convoluted & illogical way the character was re-introduced into an already sub-par season. No mention at all of her the first half, & then.........POOOOOF, all of a sudden there she is drugging Dex, & then dragging him out to a beach miles away all by herself?🤬 That was some of the laziest writing I've ever seen, and then it managed to get even worse.😱
A show with Yvonne Stravhoski can never be considered unwatchable
