The atrocious wig young adult Dexter wore in the flashbacks

Lol i'm watching some reruns on pluto tv and its in season 1 and man i forgot how fucking awful the wig Dexter wore in the flashbacks was to make him look different and kind of younger. I mean god damn its awful. I know they wanted him to look different to show you he's younger but it looked terrible.

Should've just kept his hair he had in current day, cause his face was clearly the exact same as it was in current day, putting a goofy long haired wig on him looked very off putting.

Yeah, I always thought those flashback scenes where him & JC played "younger" versions of their characters was really stretching it. They had other flashback scenes where you had different actors play younger versions. Guess some scenes they couldn't be bothered with it or just couldn't find anyone.

Yeah they shouldn't have had Michael and Jennifer play those versions of themselves, surely they had to know how awful it looked, especially Dexter that shit looked ridiculous, the wig and his face, just nothing looked right or natural about it. Also the way Michael tried to play it where he was trying to come off as an awkward teenager or something was terrible as well like how he acted all hunched over and nervous.
