Is 20 reagrded as such a high number?!

I found this movie more amusing, then I thought it would be, but had one problem with the plot. During the whole movie the main character see herself and is seen by others as being very "cheap",, because she has slept with 20 guys.

I know that this would be seen as being very cheap 50 years ago, but now? 20 doesn't seem to be a high number for a person in their late 20's?

Yes, to me 20 people is a very high number. I'm 28 years old and my number is 3. Three!
Number three is my husband and we've been together for nine years, so I acknowledge that my number could very well be higher if I hadn't found my partner that early in life.
