Editing goof?

One of the notable aspects of this film, which limits it artistically but which also would presumably make it a good feature to show in class or to use for research (assuming the facts are correct) is its straightforward docudrama style. "This happened, followed by this other thing, followed by the next thing. At the bottom of the screen we will give you captions to keep track of it all."

So after everyone significant in the game has been rounded up by the police, naturally they give us a series of shots establishing which prisons each had been dispersed to. This once again follows a straightforward format: exteriour shot of a prison, with a caption labeling which prison it is, followed by a brief shot of one of the characters inside their cell; then on to the next one.

The odd exception, though, comes at the beginning of the sequence. An exteriour shot of a prison is shown, with the caption "Wittlich Prison" (1:22:04 on the Blu-ray); then with no interiour shot in that prison, they just move on to the next one (Cologne) and begin following the pattern I describe above. Considering this film is generally well edited in an, again, very straightforward, conventional manner, this is a strange quirk. Hard to believe it was a complete glitch/oversight that made it all the way to theaters and then Blu-ray; but otherwise, it's a strange purposeful choice which I don't understand the intention behind.

In my version after the Wittlich caption Meins is shown in bed, then after Cologne Raspe is shown and so on. So I don't know what's wrong with your version.
