Can I just say that I am still sad this was cancelled?

I really enjoyed this. I liked the hook where you get to find out what REALLY happened at the end.

And the cast was so enjoyable to watch.

I'm just sad ...

I agree. One of the best court room dramas ever.

I'm in the same boat.

I really enjoyed the whole 'Side-A' - 'Side-B' --- the truth thing

But when you think about it, there are a lot of people in the U.S who don't care about truth, but rather conviction.

Never forget, the police were 100% SURE John Walsh murdered his son.
So much so they never even bothered to consider anybody else at the time.
How many of those cops today will come forward and say "I know I'm still right. I'm ALWAYS right!"

None.

It sort of goes that same when when it comes to our cop and court shows.

If we (the U.S) has a show about "lets git tuff on crime" it'll be on the air for 10 years. If we have a show that presents the defense and how some of the time, the innocent are exactly that... well, that show is a commie plot!

LOL!

There is a new show on right now called 'The Whole Truth' and it's similar to this show.

You should give it a go and see what you think.

Unfortunately, The Whole Truth has now been cancelled too! I liked it & I liked Justice. They both made me think.

Ha....after six years, I'm STILL mad that this show was cancelled so early. It was a pretty GOOD show! I used to tune in to every episode just about.

It was really entertaining, and kept you on the edge of your seat.

I think the only reason why the show was cancelled was because perhaps ratings were low?? Idk....that's usually the main reason why shows are cancelled. Maybe the show could have done a better job at showing more of the PERSONAL stories of each character on the show more?? You know, like Ron, Tom, etc. It seems that most of the show was not so much about the characters in their down time, but more so about their clients....

Idk....still a shame they cancelled it though. It was super entertaining and had GREAT potential!

It was a great show! Obviously a lot of people miss it as it is still getting posts on the message boards this many years later!

I Feel The SAME!

It was a two for one show. You got legal and crime in one show. And I loved the reveals at the end. Also the fact that some of the killers got away! Clever written show. I'm just sad it didn't get another season. We really could have seen the characters grow if only they were given a chance. The episode when Luther (Eamonn Walker) defends someone he put in jail. How Alden sympathized with the teenager Colin Clark (Bug Hall) and Tom being angry he didn't believe Colin at first then did but it was too late he was found guilty. But the character that was focused on the most was Ron but Victor Garber is awesome anyway. I loved his banter with Suzanne.

I just started watching Deception. It's funny because Ron (Victor Garber) and Suzanne (Katherine LaNasa) are married! haha It's probably just coincidence they were cast opposite each other. But in my mind I secretly think that Ron and Suzanne ended up together hahaha :)

This show was so good that I even remember the episodes. But then again there weren't alot so that's why I remember it easily. Anyway, it's still a great show and always will be!

I loved this series. I just found it on Youtube. Watched almost all of them once more. Really cool how some happen exactly as the accused says, others the person is indeed guilty.

It was a fantastic concept. I loved how you don't know anything till the very end. I wish this had more season and more case types. Get a few more civil cases.

Ron Trott was awesome. Love the chess master type strategy he plays. Tell the young girl not to cry when talking about the death of her mom. When she starts to break down the prosecutor asks her if she was coached to cry. She says she was told not to. Brilliant!

wish we could have seen more of the characters, the plot and the cast were amazing. Still sad Fox did not give them a chance :(

reply

Of course. It was one of the best legal dramas.

That part where they show you what really happened was a game changer, IMHO.

reply

Agreed. I'm still sad this was cancelled.
