A good movie?
Can someone tell?
shareYes. This is the scariest Filipino film in the new millenium.
shareYeah, it's more than good...
sharedid u guys actually thought about the loopholes of the story line? besides, it was like watching final destination, boogeyman, the omen(remake)and an obvious rip-off of the ring. sukob concept is very good but the way it was directed, i don't see any difference from other typical asian horror films. can't we make a movie that other countries will follow? not actually letting other countries set the tone for a horror genre. not just horror, but also any film categories. answer me and i'll tell u more..
shareI didn't find it that scary, just shocking. I mean, the whole thought of the kid probably following me around didn't scare me, and I guess I SHOULD be scared because the incident that happened to Helen happened to my cousin's wedding (because our relative died a day before her wedding). And yes, the kid was a rip-off from the ring.
sharethank u!
shareinteresting. some people claim that hideo nakata's sadako was actually ripped off from the white lady in the filipino movie "Itim".
sharemaaan! not by a slight comparison! the ghost in itim didn't actaully crawled into the window like the flower girl did, looking like sadako who came out of the TV. those "some people" were over stating the character. itim was a good movie though, better than sukob i would say..
shareit was a good entertaining film but not that scary! ( no movie quite scares me though). and yeah there was the ring rip off... i just like how they used a superstitious belief in the movie. about a relative dying, they say the marriage will be not successful, if two siblings marry same month , same year, one's marriage will fail the other will be lucky.
shareWell someone mentioned ITIM. It's namely the best horror movie Philippines had produce. In line with PATAYIN SA SINDAK SI BARBARA (not the remake).
