Is THAT funny?
It suceeds as a comedy for me because I saw it once 3 years ago- but even now very once in a while a scene will pop into my head and I will laugh. That staying power- most comedies don't have them.
Some other comedies that I always get a laugh out of when I think of them (sticking with recent ones) The Hangover, Paul Blart Mall Cop (It was silly and even stupid at sometimes- but for some reason the idea of having Kevin James in a physical comedy makes me laugh), I Love You Man (Slappin Da Bass!), Börat & Brüno (no comedy- save for a Monty Python flick- has changed comedy and films like theese have), Tropic Thunder (RDJ in blackface? There's not a single way they could have messed this up), Tenacious D & The Pick of Destiny, any Simon Pegg movie (really, any of them), and the Austin Powers trilogy (side note: I actually liked the Love Guru. I didn't like it. It wasn't great. But there were a few moments in there that stay- like the Kanye West in-joke that probably me, Mike Myers, and 10 other people got. In fact, I felt like in between the toilet humor, there were a lot of higher-end jokes that were lost in translation because of dumb audiences. It wasn't a great movie- but no way it desserved 9 Razzie noms)
Really- with all the unfunny crap put out nowadays- it's impressive to find a funny movie that's - you know- actually funny
This movie far and away had more laughs than Observe and Report (shudder).
Plotholes are like Bigfoot, people who claim to see them are just trying to stir things up.

too many good parts to name. Terry was awesome. The whale was awesome.. etc!
I liked it because it was funny. It was essentially just a 90-minute episode of the show, and as a fan of the show, I enjoyed it, although it was a tad weaker than most episodes.
