I actually quite enjoyed the film. The best acting was definitely everyone pretending Rob Schneider was tough. Heavy stuff.I did enjoy it though.

shareI am amazed at its 6.4 score. I barely gave 1 and I felt I was generous.
I'm stunned and appalled at the claim Big Stan is not the funniest film of the decade. I laughed from beginning to end. The dialog was snappy, the direction and cinematography were first rate, the martial arts were hilarious, Henry Gibson was poignant, David Carradine was a delight (I never really liked him before), and Mindy Minton was super. I've seen Rob Schneider's movies before and didn't enjoy so much, but in this one, he is full force funny and outstanding.
I miss Big Band music and talented singers. Leonard Cohen is my idol. Civility, harmony, unity!
