Yeah It was terrible, first half of it was okay but by the end I was falling asleep.

went to see it in the theatres here in aus
i walked out 20min into the movie and got my money back

IVE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE

this was as funny epic movie or meet the Spartans which is equivalent to watching grass grow

The story reminded me of Adam Sandlers The Longest Yard. Except that its not funny. I tried to like it because I like Rob, but ugh...

It provided me with many laughs. With a movie like this (or anything by the likes of Adam Sandler or Jackie Chan) you have to adjust your expectations going in. If you can accept it for what it obviously is, i.e. mindless slapstick, then you can enjoy it as such.

Moreover, and I say this without a hint or irony, I enjoyed this little airy farce much more than the somnolently boring (not to mention criminally over-hyped) Dark Knight.

Decent flick. Not as funny as Rob's earlier flicks (except European Gigolo) but still a decent movie to watch. I mean watching Rob Schnieder play a very opposite role from his previous roles and the martial arts are hilarious. Also David Carradine was pretty funny slapping Schnieder around. It maybe mediocre but as long as they are not shoving private parts at the camera I am fine...

I agree that maybe it deserved a 4. I came here and read the reviews 1st, then watched it expecting pretty much nothing. Got a couple of laughs out of this movie. The entire 2nd half of the movie was just there to try to fulfill the plot (if you wanna call it a plot: idea that came from the Warden almost mid-way thru the movie). The initial idea of the movie was to not get %%%%ed in the %%% by dudes when you go to prison. Come on.. we would all fear that if we were ever faced with going to prison. lawls

I heard it only cost about 6 million to make.. so maybe it might have made "some" cash if it made it to theatres? However, after seeing it on DVD, I would not have thought it was worth paying for to see in the theatres.

This movie is so bad, the bear is stock footage, and they couldn't afford blood so any time someone gets killed the screen goes black with red computer splatter.

I have to rent it in English. I might be judging it too harshly since I can't understand spanish and wasn't able to detect any possible wit or exposition.

That's funny, because the only movie with Rob as the lead that I found funny was European Gigolo.... I also thought Big Stan was terrible... i cant believe it's a 6.4, i gave it a 2.

Well Rob Scheider's character was trying to change things and it was comical to me when he was locked up in prison. I guess you did not understand the point about prison. Possibly you should go there to find out or watch some MSNBC because they will have shows about prison and exactly what some of the reason guys rape other men is due to them being locked up for so long.

It was a very good comedy in my opinion and I laughed about it.
