why his neighbour was killing people? 6/10. I can't be bothered to rewatch it to see if I missed anything

i figured he was an old fashioned serial killer that killed to kill.

He was just a nut who enjoyed going specifically after redhead women. No real or even flimsy motive, he just enjoyed them as his targets.
