Any other crazy neighbor movies out there?

I’m just curious. I know there’s Lakeview Terrace and I have probably seen a few more that I forgot about, but are there perhaps some more good ones? I’m writing a small book for me and my friends enjoyment and would like some more inspiration. Any good thriller with a nutty or obsessed neighbor will do. Thanks so much!

Fright night, Colin Farrel is a beast in it lol

has anyone mentioned The 'Burbs, starring Tom Hanks? Movies like these are truly the best. I feel like watching Rear Window now.

Nobody has mentioned it but Lakeview Terrace. I have it on DVD.

Mo one mentioned it? I guess you didn't read the original post. It leads off his second sentence. :-)

Definitely Arlington Road - that is the best. Secret Window is kinda similar. Single White Female is a crazy roomate movie :)

The Notorious Landlady (1962)
The Tenant (1976)
Apartment Zero (1988)
Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993)
American Beauty (1999)

I love creepy neighbor movies, especially when those neighbors are part of a cult. Rosemary's Baby and The Tenant are definite recommendations.

Suspiria is kind of on the same line as well (girl moves into new place to discover things aren't as they seem).

" Brainscan " from 1994 was like " the beyond crazy neighbor type movie " with a lot of extra twist and turns - good flick if you like horror / sci fi and Edward Furlong . Also the TV Movie Remake of " Rear Window " from 1998 ( with actor Christopher Reeve ) was another excellent one too . Thanks nancydrewadventure for your subject post .
