I didn't expect her to be THAT weak.
Even when Lamia had barely a tiny fraction of the star's remaining power left, she still managed to completely overwhelm Sal and decapitate her. ðŸ˜
I thought Sal had a bit more fight in her than that! 😞
The star didn't give her her power, only allowed her to look young. As Lamia used her power it used up the power of the star so she looked older. Once she looked old again, and had Yvaine it didn't matter how much magic she used at that point and didn't hold back.
Although seeing her headless corpse run around was quite a sight. With things like that, and Primus' and Septimus' deaths, I don't see how this movie is a family film.
Drink up, let's boo boo.
It appears obvious from the way Ditchwater Sal acts once she realizes who she's dealing with that Lamia is a VERY powerful witch and is vastly more powerful than Ditchwater Sal.
