So what was your favourite team?

I used Rouge through out the whole game (shes my fav x-man) I used every 1 eles alot except bishop i saw no point to him i wish the would had replaced him with angel or shadowcat.

Toad.
Besides being My favorite, he was Pretty strong. Nice NICE Long Range attacks, and the higher jumping CERTAINLY helped alot.

Juggernaut.
All Muscle. Deffinatly one of my faves.

Scarlet Witch.
She's got lotsa power, long range attacks.

And Finally...
Gambit.
Good with that staff for getting on close, and long range attacks.

Deffinatly needed those Longer range attacks for Sugarman. with those extra arms and the weapons, he was tough.

Sunfire.
AGAIN, Long range, i needed long range moves to kill sugarman. Guy was TOUGH.

I like to use Forces of nature:Iceman,Storm,Sunfire and Magneto or Bruiser Brigade: Juggernaut,Colosus,Wolverine and Rogue.

I have been playing with a friend throughout and we are currently in the New York Sewers with all team characters at level 43. The best combo I have used is:

Magneto; Cyclops; Iceman and Jean Grey

Both Cyke and Magneto have leadership and command/supremacy which at higher levels increases the accuracy of combos as well as adding roughy four temporary skill points to all your team characters mutant abilities for the duration of the attack.

Magnto and Jean are both haevy hitters after level 40 (Magneto's levitation is exeptionally destructive) and flyers, whilst leveled up cyke and iceman have decent long range attacks which at this point in the game can seriosly sap a boss strenght in seconds - it took less than a minuite to beat the stepford cuckoos

In cases where a particular character is needed to teleport or drain energy we just whipped up a blink portal and briefly changed characters.

I haven't fnished the game yet (just reached New York) But this is the team i have assembled right now:

Rogue
Juggernaut
Wolverine
Bishop

When I change the team, I use Nightcrawler, Colausus, and Magneto. I've also tried Storm, Gambit, Toad, and sunfire.

I've been afraid to change my main team latley because they're all a good 5-8 levels higher than my secondary charatcers, and I just feel like I need to stick with the team that has the power and my confidence.

I use Juggernaut for his sheer power, (his Thunder Punch kills most everyone with one hit), and I travel with Rogue (moves a lot faster than Juggernaut and she packs a punch). Bishop is of course my ranged expert (I love his Bombardment attack.) Wolverine was suposed to be my damage dealer, but he's been seeming a little weak. It takes several attacks to bring anyone down, and just before I can kill them, he runs out of energy. I can't figure out why he isn't doing well, because I've been using the guide book (hey, I want to unlock frickin' Deadpool. Once I have him, I'm going to redo the whole game with him on the team at all times.)

Gambit, Iron Man, Iceman, and Nightcrawler. If Nightcrawler dies, and I don't have enough tech bits to revive him (All my characters are at level 99) I sub in DeadPool. He's a bit stronger than Nightcrawler, and has more range with his guns, and having at least one "evil" teammate allows you to do things like open doors that only brotherhood members know the code to. I know it seems like I should use DeadPool over Nightcrawler, but if one of my characters falls, Nightcrawler can teleport them back onto land, whereas DeadPool cannot.
