Schizophrenic

Yeh, I know that word doesn't mean what it used to.

But this show is a failure, because it tries to be multiple personalities at once. First it shocks you with gore and horror and murdering of innocent people casually and without mercy.

Then it switches gears completely, and tries to woo you with sexuality, cuteness and the typically unrealistic 'anime harem' crap. Every woman has the hots for this non-charismatic, unsure nerd guy and his kindness is somehow magnetic to anime vulva.

You try to be cutesy-cute while being as gory, horrible and depressing as possible. You can't commit crimes against humanity and then try to be cute to get around that. You can't nullify horror and murder by showing cherry blossoms in the wind coupled with wacky harem shenanigans.

It's like pouring ice cream with chocolate frosting on top of vomit-turds, it just doesn't work. It's extremely bad taste (pun intended).

This tries to have its cake and vomit it, too. It doesn't choose a personality, it's a split personality, completely schizophrenic, and that's why I can never really like it, and especially I can't root for the supposed 'heroine' that's actually a dispicable, psychopathic, sociopathic villain with no redeemable qualities.

BTW, if she's THAT powerful, why can't she just remove the helmet by her own power? It's not like the helmet is doing anything to control her, so .. agh.. I am too tired. This is really badly written crap, just to shock the viewer and then exploit the viewer's sexuality and loneliness. There's no actual story or content here, just manipulation after manipulation to make you FEELZ all kinds of things, and nothing else.
