How can we (medically) treat war-related PTSD?

Would you say modern medical technology and science allows PTSD to be cured and treated as such, or is it forever so complex that no technology however successful and expensive can treat it just like that, and no clever psychologists and psychiatrists can be 100% effective either, but there ARE exceptions and it CAN be possible, right?
