Lost it's edge when Max Beesley Left

he wasn't just the male lead actor but also the narrator.

his voice was the first thing you would hear and without his character the show can never recover.

i thought Tamzin leaving was very bad for the show but with Max , Natalie & Emma all having effectively left it is getting ridiculous.

it is a bit like the guy who plays robin hood , he is leaving the show yet he is the star?

any thoughts?

I know I'm late to the party but as an American we're playing catch up to BBC programming. With that being said I've just finished watching all 4 seasons on Netflix and I must say I fell in love with the show but I was a bit disappointed in seasons 3 and 4. After the departure of Rebecca, Charlie, and Jackie it just wasn't the same.
