After re-watching season 12, I think it might be the best, and season 13 the worst...

I remember watching season 12 week by week as it came out, and I definitely was "blurred" by high expectations, I judged it too harshly. F.x. I watched "the gang goes to a waterpark" live, and although I died when the aids blood in the pool thing happened,I though it was weak. Which is crazy. It's one of their best.

Every episode of season 12 (apart from the last episode) is so crazy, innovative, genuine and unique but still continues character development from previos seasons sophistically. And it seems like the whole gang was involved. Season 12, on a 2nd view, stroke me as beautiful and artistic.

However... season 13 was maybe the weakest they have made. Just didn't seem like they were all in it? Dennis leaving at the end of season 12 was so strange. And then he just randomly came back? No explanation... Terrible. I think they just couldn't do a season without Glenn Howerton/Dennis, because the only one committed at this point is Rob/Mac and Danny/Frank. Although it seemed like Charlie/Charlie (lol had to do that) was committed to his solo "home alone" episode. Which I thought was good. But looking at the season at a whole, Dennis came to "save face", to prevent embarrassment perhaps? Mac being ripped questioned my heterosexuality though.... god damn, what a body. The last episode was a knockout.

I'm curious about your thoughts for season 14? And on season 12 and 13.

I think if Glenn Howerton cannot fully commit to being part of a full season of IASIP, it's time for this journey to come to an end. Of course I'd much prefer it to continue. If that means a longer time between seasons so Glenn and any other of the cast members can work on their side projects, that's fine.
