Is there aother movie like this one?

I'm really into this kind of modern society-story and this means a lot of foggy structure that is made out of laywers, corruption, manupulation an so on. So give me some names and of course small, unknown productions a very welcome.

The Insider
The Constant Gardener
The Contender

Two early 80s gems with Paul Newman:

"The Verdict"

"Absence of Malice"

Runaway Jury. Has Rachel Weiss, and I think John Cussack.

Also State of Play with Russel Crowe and Rachel McAdams.

I don't know about other movies like this one but the show Damages on FX has everything you listed in your post. It's a good show worth checking out.

"Yo, yo, yo, 148-3369, representing the ABQ. What up, biatch? Leave it at the tone."

In terms of pure feel, I'd have to add (all of the previous selections are terrific, except maybe for "Fight Club");

"the Long Good Friday" (same composition in the final shot and an overall similar feel.

"Changing Lanes" w/Ben Affleck; Sam Jackson; and another excellent Sydney Pollack supporting perf.

"Silkwood" w/Meryl Streep; Cher; Kurt Russell.

Yet another vote for The Insider.

To me, The Insider is better - but this movie was still incredible. So glad I watched it (first time, tonight).

I like the mention of A Constant Gardener. I'm surprised no one mentioned The Sweet Hereafter, by Atom Egoyan. Brilliant film, and cf: shady lawyer and class action lawsuit gone awry. Speaking of shady lawyers, Tom Hulce's character in Fearless.
