It was brainless, gory, sexy, trashy fun - sometimes that hits the spot!

I'm amazed by the amount of pointless comments this movie gets... I mean, come on guys, nobody asks for a refund after having deliberately bought a ticket for a film called "Piranha 3D"! There's a freakin' girl wearing a bikini on the poster, and don't you ever watch trailers before going to see a movie? Besides, why would you even watch the damn thing if your thing is pre-bergman swedish realistic cinema (or whatever)? You're all perfectly right : Piranha contains lots of unnecessary nudity (wtf is necessary nudity?), college humor, cheap dialogues... Guess what, that was intentionnal.

But have you heard Tarkovskis movies are getting re-released in a 23 dvds box? It's got awesome features, like a 6h interview with Tarkovski discussing the colour of his turds which changes when its full moon... And tons of great deleted scenes (the slo-mos of raindrops falling on a bonzaï... wicked cool.)
You HAVE to check it out.

"Yo mama would turn over in her grave if she were here to see this!"

If this is the worst movie you've ever seen than it's also the only one you've ever seen.

As bad as Open Water and that's REAL bad.

I recommend a film called Deadfall, with Nicolas Cage.

Seriously, what kind of movie were you expecting when you know you are going to go see a movie about killer pirnhas, and it is rated highly because of high violence, gore and nudity? For the type of movie it is, it is perfect! I actually preferred this movie to Avatar - I can recognise that Avatar is 'technically' better (much better effects, etc) but I found Avatar to be very long-winded and dull. In terms of actually just sitting down and enjoying a movie, this delivers!
