I really hope you wrote brian Wilson as a joke. That was absolutely embarassing. His whole set was mainly done by his backup-singers. They tried their best, but sadly you could still hear those weird noises Wilson is passing for singing these days. The man belongs in a nursery home, not on a stage. Sorry if that sounds harsh. I really liked the Beach Boys, but Brian has fried his brain along with his vocal chords a long time ago. He shouldn´t be dragged around the world as a freakshow anymore...

Different topic: while I don´t really think they were the best, I believe Duran Duran deserve an honorable mention. Simon LeBon still sounded fantastic. Something was totally wrong with that crowd in Rome though. Those people acted like they never heard any of the songs before. Maybe that was the reason why Duran Duran looked a little bored as well as pissed off on stage. If they´d played that stuff in London, people would have cheered a lot more.

Highlights
Madonna - Top Form... no wonder she is the "queen of pop"
Annie Lennox - What an artist!
Pink Floyd - They sounded like they never broke
U2 - The best group in the whole world
Coldplay - Following U2's footsteps
Sting - Because he is brilliant.
Sarah McLachlan - The only artist from the USA show that delivered the best without all the fuss... just a piano and her amazing voice.
The Who - Rock and Roll at the best

Dido surprised me.

Dissapointments:
Mariah Carey with her "diva" attitude...
The closing with Paul McCartney was a bit of let down.

Thank You Bob

Coldplay, the best band in the world. Move over U2, they've taken your throne as the kings.

I loved Brian Wilson's show, not Brian Wilson himself.
I didn't understand what weird noises. His band is perfect and in the whole show I just listened to his voice when he screemed at the end.
