Who else wants to see this movie only for Alfred Molina?

I must confess, I couldn't care less about Richard Gere, but I am a huge fan of Alfred Molina's, and I dearly wish he'd be in more movies. As such, when I heard about this movie through looking him up, I got intrigued. I'm sure there are more such people out there, so confess: who else only heard about this movie and got interested in it just because of Alfred Molina's involvement?

I wouldn't say Alfred is the only reason I would see the movie, but he weighs heavily in the equation. He's a great actor.

He is a much better actor than Richard Gere, imo.

Definitely worth checking out for Molina fans as well, because his part is fairly large -- he's Gere's main co-conspirator -- and he knocks it out of the park.

For anyone who remembers "The Ice Harvest" (yeah, I know), Molina's got another great drunk scene, though this one, in "The Hoax," has potentially messy, dramatic consequences.

Count me in. AM has been one of my favourite actors since I first saw him in 'The Actuary' back in the mid-eighties. A great, charming, versatile and under-rated actor.

i think both Molina and Gere are underrated. I don't see why Gere has to be slammed just to praise Molina. They both rock in my opinion.

I went to see the movie because the movie looked awesome and I left happy; but I must admit upon seeing Alfred Molina in the trailer I was more intrigued.

Life, what a precious gift like boobs or rockets-Nick Frost.

My father introduced me to Alfred Molina's acting MANY moons ago, so I'm very much wanting to see this because of him. When I found out he was in it was when it got interesting.

Molina is a great actor and doesn't disappoint in The Hoax. Loved him as Doc Ock, but my favorite was in Chocolat -- another Lasse Hallstrom movie.

ooo! ooo! Me! Me! I care not a whit for Gere. But ever since Spider-man 2 I can't get enough of Alfred Molina. When I saw him in the trailer I absolutely lit up. The film holds a certain intrigue, but oh I can't WAIT to see him, and how he fits into it.
