Jensen interview/Podcast with Michael Rosenbaum

Kept coming across posters overreacting over something Jensen said about his father during the pod cast. Reading people screeeeeing over Alan Ackles being a child abuser and how he obviously emotionally scared Jensen for life. For life, y’all. How no matter what Jensen had done that it was absolutely inexcusable for his father to use a belt as punishment and the fact that Jensen had to choose the belt to be used? Clearly he’s a monster. Or a homophobe. Cause a lot of these people are of the belief that Jensen is gay and his father resents it.

One. Relax people. We keep judging the past in relation to our “now”. Things were different back then. Right and wrong. And society has moved on. Right and wrong. Stop ruining people based on dredging up a comment made 3 decades back. I remember years ago, I was sitting on the couch reading the newspaper when I looked up and told my mom that political correctness (it was just starting to rear it’s ugly head) was going to be the death of us. It could be a good thing but ultimately it would spiral out of control. A negative. And it has. Now everything is racist, sexist... careers are being destroyed... comedians are terrified to be comedians. I remember how on the old board whenever I used macabre, dark or satirical humor there were some that couldn’t handle it and thought it inappropriate. Really? Sorry. I digressed. Jensen clearly loves and respects his father. He also told Michael that he never resented it when he got the belt because he knew he earned it.
