I found this from wiki's trivia:
"This will be the first season where Dean Winchester will not appear in some episodes, as Jensen will only be playing Michael for short period of time."
Playing Michael for a "short period of time"....hmm. I wonder if that's a few episodes, or up until before the hiatus...?
On IMDb if this appeared it would have really rattled them. I think if its only a few episodes, its totally not fair. Just like DemonDean we all thought it was WAY to SHORT just to make way for the 200th episode. Which they could have had DD still run along side. Soulless Sam went for half a season, so I hope its up until hiatus with a mid-season cliff hanger and bring Dean back in the New Year would be superb. That way, we can at least get to know AU Michael even if its not that real Michael we had before. I also think it will rattle Dean fans if he is isn't on screen whatsoever for a few episodes. Even if he's in another skin. I think the writers will have a hard time on their hands if they do.

If it's challenging for the writers, they might rush to get Dean back...but I hope it lasts up to the hiatus.
Something tells me by Episode 4 or 5 we'll have Dean back, but I really hope I'm wrong. I'd like this season to be different and Jensen to play Michael for longer than a few episodes.
