So, that Gabriel scene

Who's happy to see that face again? This girl is. I like that Asmodeaus has his mouth stitched shut though.

It caught me off guard. If there were any clues, hints, I missed them. Wonder when we will get the back story on where he's been all this time. Or if he's an AU Gabriel. Am glad he's back no matter what.

I hope he is the real deal. I wonder how long Asmodeaus as held him captive, poor Gabe. He doesn't deserve that treatment. And more to the point, what is he really hiding that concerns Asmodeaus so badly that he tortures Gabe for years to uncover it? Will Gabe survive him, more to the point? I hope to God he's not bought back to be killed off a second time. Nothing would surprise me. That scene was so chilling and horrific in the way they bought him back. He looked so trodden and worn down. I had to look twice to see who it really was. A friend mentioned to me before he was back, so had an idea but that image still haunted me.

It looks like he's been captive for years, he looks horrible...which makes you wonder. If Asmoedus had him for years, where was he keeping him, if he only recently made himself "ruler of hell" - right? Maybe that's not important....
Yeah, I hope they don't kill him off "again" too.

It will be interesting to see how the writers handle this one, and how Gabe really coped and we learn about Asmoedus I think this story will role for a while yet.

Personally I am so over the caricature that is Asmodeus and his man spread while sitting on the “throne”. I don’t find him frightening or threatening. Not really interesting. Wasn’t he a NepDuo Creation?

The guy who played Ramiel would have been a better choice.

I find it interesting that Ketch stands up to him. It’s almost as if they have had a previous relationship. Remember last year when we heard his voice on the recorder at the BMOLs US headquarters? So is Asmodeus the head honcho of the BMOLs? He doesn’t meet the description of the “Old Men” Or Men. But he is ancient so technically you could say he does...

I agree about Asmodeus...I also don't like his "western" accent of choice, makes him a bit "comedic" instead of like you said frightening or threatening. He also hasn't really done anything to help "us" fear him. He had Cas and Lucifer locked up almost just for the fun of it and apparently Gabriel for years.

Ramiel was definitely more frightening for a new big bad, but he came and gone as fast as Barthamus, who was also a better villain.

I’m wondering if now that Gabriel’s back if that is how they all end up in ScoobyLand...

Can’t say I’m excited with all the doornails showing up. It feels cheap. Like they are trying too hard. It’s not shocking or suspenseful - it’s wearing thin. It’s sad that death means nothing on this show anymore.

Great points on both your comments AC. Clever thought about them ending up in Scoobydoo land one way the Trickster could cause havoc and make his come back causing more trouble for the boys.

I think Asmo was the duo's creation. I like him but he doesn't do it for me yet like Crowley did. Mark knew how to get under our skins and I don't think this actor is doing this yet. It's early days...

I like Ketch in how he manages to stand up to Asmo, Ketch has always had the balls to order people about, which makes me think he could be a future king of hell, even powerless.... He has the means of that type of personality to do the job, and is a ruthless, carefree character who sure is fearless. He doesn't care who gets in his way. I can't seem to remember Ramiel will have to look him up to jog my memory. Nice to see ya back hun x
